Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of Armies will reign on Mount Tziyon, and in Yerushalayim; and before his elders will be glory.


Moreover the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the fracture of his people, and heals the wound they were struck with.


He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.


It happened that, as I made my journey, and came close to Damascus, about noon, suddenly there shone from the sky a great light around me.


*Those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they didn't understand the voice of him who spoke to me.


*Whereupon as I traveled to Damascus with the authority and commission from the chief Kohanim,


When we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, 'Sha'ul, Sha'ul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'


As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.


He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.


The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
