In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.


Moshe has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moshe, but of the fathers), and on the Shabbat you circumcise a boy.


In these days, Kefa stood up in the midst of the talmidim (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,


Then it seemed good to the emissaries and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Sha'ul and Bar-Nabba: Yehudah called Bar-Sabba, and Sila, chief men among the brothers.


They wrote these things by their hand: *The emissaries, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.


Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, 'You must be circumcised and keep the Torah,' to whom we gave no mitzvah;


They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Shomron, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers.


Yehudah and Sila, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words, and strengthened them.


But some of the sect of the Perushim who believed rose up, saying, *It is necessary to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the Torah of Moshe.*


They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, *You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Judeans of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Torah.


For we have heard him say that this Yeshua of Natzeret will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moshe delivered to us.*


Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Yerushalayim with Bar-Nabba, taking Titus also with me.


For in Messiah Yeshua neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.


As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Messiah.


Let no man therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or Shabbat,


Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Messiah.
