The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters.


The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.


“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.


And the Lord threw them into a panic before Israel, who struck them with a great blow at Gibeon and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth-horon and struck them as far as Azekah and Makkedah.


And the Lord routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army before Barak by the edge of the sword. And Sisera got down from his chariot and fled away on foot.


From heaven the stars fought, from their courses they fought against Sisera.


When new gods were chosen, then war was in the gates. Was shield or spear to be seen among forty thousand in Israel?

And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.


The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; against them he will thunder in heaven. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth; he will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.”


And the men of Israel went out from Mizpah and pursued the Philistines and struck them, as far as below Beth-car.
