So Pharaoh said, “I will let you go and offer sacrifices [57] to the Lord your God in the desert. But, you must not go very far! Now, go and pray for me.”
Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron. Pharaoh said, “Ask the Lord to remove the frogs from me and my people. I will let the people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”
The hail and thunder from God are too much! Ask God to stop the storm and I will let you go. You don’t have to stay here.”
Then Jephthah said to the elders (leaders) from Gilead, “If you want me to come back to Gilead and fight the Ammonite people, fine. But if the Lord helps me win, then I will be your new leader.”
