But the Lord says:\par “Stop crying!\par Don’t fill your eyes with tears!\par You will be rewarded for your work!”\par This message is from the Lord.\par “The people of Israel will come back from their enemy’s land.\par
Then Jesus said, “What are these things you are talking about while you walk?”
Jesus saw his mother. He also saw the follower that he loved very much standing there. He said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son.”
Jesus answered, “Dear woman, you should not tell me what to do. It is not yet time for me to begin my work.”
Jesus asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?”
So Mary ran to Simon Peter and the other follower (the one Jesus loved very much). Mary said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb. We don’t know where they put him.”
But Paul said, “Why are you crying? Why are you making me so sad? I am ready to be tied in Jerusalem. I am also ready to die for the name of the Lord Jesus!”
Her husband, Elkanah, said to her, “Hannah, why are you crying? Why won’t you eat? Why are you sad? You have me—I am your husband. You should think I am better than ten sons.”
