“I’m sure you think you are\par the only wise people.\par You think when you die,\par wisdom will be gone with you.\par


But my mind is as good as yours.\par I am as smart as you are.\par Anyone can see this is true.\par


I wish you would just be quiet. That would be the wisest thing you could do.


“But come on, all of you,\par try to show me that it is all my fault.\par None of you are wise.\par


“Bildad, Zophar, and Eliphaz,\par you have really been a big help\par for this tired, weary man!\par Oh yes, you have \{really been an encouragement,\}\par you have really made my weak arms\par strong again!\par


Who helped you say these things?\par Whose spirit inspired you?\par


My heart is honest,\par so I will speak honest words.\par I will speak the truth\par about the things I know.\par


But Job, if you have nothing to say,\par then listen to me.\par Be quiet, and I will teach you wisdom.”\par
