Isaac continued to grow. Soon he was old enough to begin eating solid food. So Abraham gave a big party.


So the sister of Tahpenes married Hadad. They had a son named Genubath. Queen Tahpenes allowed Genubath to grow up in Pharaoh’s house with his children.


Then Jesus told the people another story: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman mixes into a big bowl of flour to make bread. The yeast makes all the dough (bread) rise.”


Then the Lord will choose a place to be his special house. The Lord will put his name there. And you must bring all the things I command you to that place. “Three times a year all your men must come to meet with the Lord your God at the special place he will choose. They must come for the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters. Every person that comes to meet with the Lord must bring a gift.


All of the Israelite people gathered together at Shiloh. At that place they set up the Meeting Tent. [63] The people of Israel controlled that country. They had defeated all the enemies in that land.
