When his master heard the story his wife told him #– #‘These are the things your slave did to me’ #– #he was furious


The woman conceived and sent word to inform David, ‘I am pregnant.’


Wealth is not profitable on a day of wrath, but righteousness rescues from death.


Fury is cruel, and anger a flood, but who can withstand jealousy?


He will get a beating  and dishonour, and his disgrace will never be removed.


He will not be appeased by anything or be persuaded by lavish bribes.


Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death; jealousy is as unrelenting as Sheol. Love’s flames are fiery flames   – an almighty flame!


Look! I am stirring up the Medes against them, who cannot be bought off with   silver and who have no desire for gold.

and if a feeling of jealousy  comes over the husband and he becomes jealous because of his wife who has defiled herself #– #or if a feeling of jealousy comes over him and he becomes jealous of her though she has not defiled herself #– #


Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
