Be warned, Jerusalem, or I will turn away from you; I will make you a desolation, a land without inhabitants.


Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them of each one. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!


An evil and adulterous generation demands a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of   Jonah.’   Then he left them and went away.


While Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon  the leper,


When  they approached Jerusalem,  at Bethphage and Bethany  near the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples


He went into Jerusalem  and into the temple.  After looking around at everything, since it was already late, he went out to Bethany  with the Twelve.


Whenever evening came, they would go out of the city.


While  he was in Bethany  at the house of Simon the leper,  , as he was reclining at the table,  a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured it on his head.


Jesus  departed with his disciples to the sea, and a large crowd followed from Galilee,  and a large crowd followed from Judea,


While they were travelling, he entered a village, and a woman named Martha  welcomed him into her home.


As he approached Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives,  he sent two of the disciples


Then he led them out to the vicinity of Bethany,  and lifting up his hands  he blessed them.


Now a man was ill #– #Lazarus from Bethany,  the village of Mary and her sister Martha.


Bethany was near Jerusalem  (less than three kilometres  away).
