Who is it you have mocked  and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!


Summoning the crowd, he told them, ‘Listen and understand:


Then the disciples came up and told him, ‘Do you know that the Pharisees took offence when they heard what you said? ’


Nothing that goes into a person from outside can defile him but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.’


I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself.  Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.


for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,  but righteousness, peace, and joy  in the Holy Spirit.


Do not tear down God’s work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong to make someone fall by what he eats.


They forbid marriage  and demand abstinence  from foods that God created  to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.


To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience  are defiled.


Don’t be led astray by various kinds of strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established by grace and not by food regulations, since those who observe them have not benefited.


For by uttering boastful, empty words,  they seduce, with fleshly desires and debauchery, people who have barely escaped  from those who live in error.
