As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent someone to search for you. When they said, “He is not here,” he made that kingdom or nation swear they had not found you.


His frame may be full of youthful vigour, but it will lie down with him in dust.


When the wicked person dies, his expectation comes to nothing, and hope placed in wealth  , vanishes.


The wicked one is thrown down by his own sin, but the righteous one has a refuge in his death.


In her, a nursing infant will no longer live only a few days, or an old man not live out his days. Indeed, the one who dies at a hundred years old will be mourned as a young man, and the one who misses a hundred years will be considered cursed.


For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”! ’   ,


‘Then he will also say to those on the left, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!


‘And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.’


He said this to indicate what kind of death he was about to die.


Jesus answered, ‘The light will be with you only a little longer.   Walk while you have the light   so that darkness doesn’t overtake you.   The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.


Little children, I am with you a little while longer.   You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so now I tell you, “Where I am going, you cannot come.”


You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come.’


What is this remark he made: “You will look for me, and you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come”   ? ’


Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.’


And you were dead  in your trespasses and sins,
