Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.’
I was a skilled craftsman beside him. I was his delight every day, always rejoicing before him.
I made the earth, and created humans on it. It was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded everything in them.
For this is what the Lord says – the Creator of the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, the one who established it (he did not create it to be a wasteland, but formed it to be inhabited) – he says, ‘I am the Lord, and there is no other.
He was in the world, and the world was created through him, and yet the world did not recognise him.

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him.
