The life of every living thing is in his hand, as well as the breath of all humanity.
But it is the spirit in a person – the breath from the Almighty – that gives anyone understanding.
The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Put no more trust in a mere human, who has only the breath in his nostrils. What is he really worth?
Neither is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.
