‘You  are to construct the tabernacle itself with ten curtains. You must make them of finely spun linen, and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with a design of cherubim worked into them.


These are the garments that they must make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a specially woven tunic,  a turban, and a sash. They are to make holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons so that they may serve me as priests.


They made the breastpiece square and folded double, twenty-five centimetres long and twenty-five centimetres wide.


He put on righteousness as body armour, and a helmet of salvation on his head; he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and he wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.


Stand,  therefore, with truth  like a belt round your waist, righteousness  like armour on your chest,
