All Moab had heard that the kings  had come up to fight against them. So all who could bear arms, from the youngest to the oldest, were summoned and took their stand at the border.


I clothed myself in righteousness, and it enveloped me; my just decisions were like a robe and a turban.


Righteousness will be a belt round his hips; faithfulness will be a belt round his waist.


He put on righteousness as body armour, and a helmet of salvation on his head; he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and he wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.


‘Be ready for service   and have your lamps lit.


The night is nearly over, and the day is near;  so let us discard the deeds of darkness  and put on the armour of light.


by the word of truth,  , by the power of God;  through weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,


for the fruit of the light  consists of all goodness, righteousness, and truth   #– #


For this reason take up the full armour  of God, so that you may be able to resist  in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.


But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled  and put on the armour  of faith and love, and a helmet  of the hope of salvation.


Therefore, with your minds ready for action,  be sober-minded  and set your hope  completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation  of Jesus Christ.


This is how I saw the horses and their riders in the vision: They had breastplates that were fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulphur yellow. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and from their mouths came fire, smoke, and sulphur.
