Solomon ruled all the kingdoms from the River Euphrates to the land of the Philistines and as far as the border of Egypt.  They offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.


for he had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates from Tiphsah to Gaza and over all the kings west of the Euphrates. He had peace on all his surrounding borders.


So now, you have been pleased to bless your servant’s house that it may continue before you for ever. For you, Lord, have blessed it, and it is blessed for ever.


He ruled over all the kings from the River Euphrates to the land of the Philistines and as far as the border of Egypt.


Powerful kings have also ruled over Jerusalem and exercised authority over the whole region west of the River Euphrates, and tribute, duty, and land tax were paid to them.


So you handed them over to their enemies, who oppressed them. In their time of distress, they cried out to you, and you heard from heaven. In your abundant compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the power of their enemies.


The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.


But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High.   For he is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.


if only you obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow every one of these commands I am giving you today.


He will lend to you, but you won’t lend to him. He will be the head, and you will be the tail.
