‘Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach the message that I tell you.’
When they reached Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, ‘He is worthy for you to grant this,
But he told him, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.’
Arriving in Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their assistant.
On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate by the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and spoke to the women gathered there.
On the first day of the week, we assembled to break bread. Paul spoke to them, and since he was about to depart the next day, he kept on talking until midnight.
When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself with the soldier who guarded him.
And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. ,
Let the one who is taught the word share all his good things with the teacher.
I have become its servant, according to God’s commission that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,
At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains,
and you yourselves became imitators of us and of the Lord when, in spite of severe persecution, you welcomed the message with joy from the Holy Spirit.
And we exhort you, brothers and sisters: warn those who are idle, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
Until I come, give your attention to public reading, exhortation, and teaching.
So if anyone purifies himself from anything dishonourable, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

But you have followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance,
This testimony is true. For this reason, rebuke them sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith
Proclaim these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
Brothers and sisters, I urge you to receive this message of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.
As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be zealous and repent.
