the watchman saw another man running. He called out to the gatekeeper, ‘Look! Another man is running alone! ’ ‘This one is also bringing good news,’ said the king.


He was still speaking when Jonathan son of Abiathar the priest,  suddenly arrived. Adonijah said, ‘Come in, for you are an important man, and you must be bringing good news.’


Again the watchman reported, ‘He reached them but hasn’t started back. Also, the driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi   #– #he drives like a madman.’


To those who send him, a trustworthy envoy is like the coolness of snow on a harvest day; he refreshes the life of his masters.


Good news from a distant land is like cold water to a parched throat.  ,


How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace, who brings news of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns! ’


And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful   are the feet of those who bring good news.   ,
