Elijah left there and found Elisha  son of Shaphat as he was ploughing. Twelve teams of oxen were in front of him, and he was with the twelfth team. Elijah walked by him and threw his mantle over him.


The king asked them, ‘What sort of man came up to meet you and spoke those words to you? ’


Elijah took his mantle,  rolled it up, and struck the water, which parted to the right and left. Then the two of them crossed over on dry ground.


When Samuel turned to go, Saul grabbed the corner of his robe, and it tore.


After that, David got up, went out of the cave, and called to Saul, ‘My lord the king! ’ When Saul looked behind him, David knelt low with his face to the ground and paid homage.


But the king said to her, ‘Don’t be afraid. What do you see? ’ ‘I see a spirit form  coming up out of the earth,’ the woman answered.
