This proposal seemed right to Absalom and all the elders of Israel.


The king arose in anger  and went from where they were drinking wine to the palace garden.  , Haman remained to beg Queen Esther for his life because he realised the king was planning something terrible for him.


The plan seemed good to me, so I selected twelve men from among you, one man for each tribe.


Then Saul threw his spear at Jonathan to kill him,  so he knew that his father was determined to kill David.


‘No! ’ Jonathan responded. ‘If I ever find out my father has evil intentions against you, wouldn’t I tell you about it? ’


Now consider carefully  what you should do, because there is certain to be trouble for our master and his entire family. He is such a worthless fool nobody can talk to him! ’
