For the morning is to all of them as thick darkness;\par\tab For they know the terrors of the thick darkness.\par


Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own;\par\tab Let a cloud dwell upon it;\par\tab Let all that maketh black the day terrify it.


Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion:\par\tab Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.


Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:\par\tab What can man do unto me?


Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me;\par\tab Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies,\par\tab And thy right hand will save me.


There were they in great fear;\par\tab For God is in the generation of the righteous.
