GirdYour swordon [Your] thigh,O MightyOne,[In] Your splendorand Your majesty!
He has madeMy mouthlike a sharpsword,In the shadowof His handHe has concealedMe; And He has also madeMe a selectarrow,He has hiddenMe in His quiver.
[He says], "You are My war-club,[My] weaponof war;And with you I shatternations,And with you I destroykingdoms.
The precioussonsof Zion,Weighedagainst finegold,Howthey are regardedas earthenjars,The workof a potter'shands!
"Then I raisedup someof your sonsto be prophetsAnd someof your youngmento be Nazirites.Is thisnot so,O sonsof Israel?"declaresthe LORD.
The delivererswill ascendMountZionTo judgethe mountainof Esau,And the kingdomwill be the LORD'S.
I said,"Whatare thesecomingto do?"And he said,"Theseare the hornswhichhave scatteredJudahsothat nomanliftsup his head;but these[craftsmen] have cometo terrifythem, to throwdownthe hornsof the nationswho have liftedup [their] hornsagainstthe landof Judahin order to scatterit."
And takeTHE HELMETOF SALVATION,and the swordof the Spirit,whichis the wordof God.
I have foughtthe goodfight,I have finishedthe course,I have keptthe faith;
For the wordof Godis livingand activeand sharperthananytwo-edgedsword,and piercingas faras the divisionof souland spirit,of bothjointsand marrow,and able to judgethe thoughtsand intentionsof the heart.
In His righthandHe heldsevenstars,and out of His mouthcamea sharptwo-edgedsword;and His facewas likethe sunshiningin its strength.
"Thesewill wage waragainstthe Lamb,and the Lambwill overcomethem, becauseHe is Lordof lordsand Kingof kings,and thosewhoare with Him [are the] calledand chosenand faithful."
From His mouthcomesa sharpsword,sothat with it He may strike downthe nations,and He will rulethem with a rodof iron;and He treadsthe winepressof the fiercewrathof God,the Almighty.
And the restwere killedwith the swordwhich camefrom the mouthof Him who saton the horse,and allthe birdswere filledwith their flesh.
