Thena strongangeltookup a stonelikea greatmillstoneand threwit into the sea,saying,"Sowill Babylon,the greatcity,be throwndown with violence,and will not be foundany longer.
"You dividedthe seabeforethem, So they passedthrough the midstof the seaon dryground;And their pursuersYou hurledinto the depths,Likea stoneinto ragingwaters.
"He fliesawaylike a dream,and they cannotfindhim; Even like a visionof the nighthe is chasedaway.
Then he passedaway,and lo,he was nomore;I soughtfor him, but he could not be found.
"The deepscoverthem; They wentdowninto the depthslikea stone.
"I will bringterrorson you and you will be nomore;though you will be sought,you will neverbe foundagain,"declaresthe LordGOD.
"So he will turnhis facetoward the fortressesof his own land,but he will stumbleand falland be foundnomore.
I sawanotherstrongangelcoming downout of heaven,clothedwith a cloud;and the rainbowwas upon his head,and his facewas likethe sun,and his feetlikepillarsof fire;
and they were not strong enough,and there was nolongera placefoundfor them in heaven.
And everyislandfled away,and the mountainswere not found.
standingat a distancebecauseof the fearof her torment,saying,Woe,woe,the greatcity,Babylon,the strongcity!For in onehouryour judgmenthas come.'
