Abramsaidto the kingof Sodom,"I have swornto the LORDGodMostHigh,possessorof heavenand earth,
"You aloneare the LORD.You have madethe heavens,The heavenof heavenswith alltheir host,The earthand allthat is on it, The seasand allthat is in them. You givelifeto allof them And the heavenlyhostbowsdownbefore You.
How blessedis he whosehelpis the Godof Jacob,Whose hopeis in the LORDhis God,
"For in sixdaysthe LORDmadethe heavensand the earth,the seaand allthat is in them, and restedon the seventhday;thereforethe LORDblessedthe sabbathdayand madeit holy.
I will bringyou to the landwhichI sworeto giveto Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,and I will giveit to you [for] a possession;I am the LORD.'"
"AlsoI sworeto them in the wildernessthat I would not bringthem into the landwhichI had giventhem, flowingwith milkand honey,whichis the gloryof alllands,
"AlsoI sworeto them in the wildernessthat I would scatterthem among the nationsand dispersethem among the lands,
"When I had broughtthem into the landwhichI sworeto giveto them, then they saweveryhighhilland everyleafytree,and they offeredtheretheir sacrificesand therethey presentedthe provocationof their offering.Therealso they madetheir soothingaromaand therethey pouredout their drinkofferings.
"And you will knowthat I am the LORD,when I bringyou into the landof Israel,into the landwhichI sworeto giveto your forefathers.
and sayto them, 'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"On the daywhen I choseIsraeland sworeto the descendantsof the houseof Jacoband madeMyself knownto them in the landof Egypt,when I sworeto them, saying,I am the LORDyour God,
"Thereforethussaysthe LordGOD,I have swornthat surelythe nationswhichare aroundyou will themselvesenduretheir insults.
"You shall divideit for an inheritance,eachoneequally with the other;for I sworeto giveit to your forefathers,and thislandshall fallto you as an inheritance.
I heardthe mandressedin linen,whowas abovethe watersof the river,as he raisedhis righthandand his lefttowardheaven,and sworeby Him wholivesforeverthat it would be for a time,times,and half[a [time]; and as soon as they finishshatteringthe powerof the holypeople,allthese[events] will be completed.
and saying,"Men,whyare you doingthese things?We are alsomenof the same natureas you, and preach the gospelto you that you should turnfrom thesevain thingsto a livingGod,WHOMADETHE HEAVENAND THE EARTHAND THE SEAAND ALLTHAT IS IN THEM.
"For while I was passing throughand examiningthe objects of your worship,I alsofoundan altarwith thisinscription,'TO AN UNKNOWNGOD.'Thereforewhatyou worshipin ignorance,thisI proclaimto you.
For sincethe creationof the worldHis invisibleattributes, His eternalpowerand divine nature,have been clearly seen,being understoodthrough what has been made,sothat they are without excuse.
Indeed,I liftup My handto heaven,And say,as I liveforever,
For when Godmade the promiseto Abraham,sinceHe couldswearby no onegreater,He sworeby Himself,
and the livingOne; and I was dead,and behold,I amaliveforevermore,and I havethe keysof deathand of Hades.
and he hadin his handa little bookwhich was open.He placedhis rightfooton the seaand his lefton the land;
and he saidwith a loudvoice,"FearGod,and giveHim glory,becausethe hourof His judgmenthas come;worshipHim who madethe heavenand the earthand seaand springsof waters."
Thenthe seventh[angel] pouredout his bowlupon the air,and a loudvoicecameout of the templefrom the throne,saying,"It is done."
"Worthyare You, our Lordand our God,to receivegloryand honorand power;for You createdall things,and becauseof Your willthey existed,and were created."
And whenthe living creaturesgivegloryand honorand thanksto Him who sitson the throne,to Him who livesforeverand ever,
