Then Davidspoketo the chiefsof the Levitesto appointtheir relativesthe singers,with instrumentsof music,harps,lyres,loud-soundingcymbals,to raisesoundsof joy.
Thus allIsraelbroughtup the arkof the covenantof the LORDwith shouting,and with soundof the horn,with trumpets,with loud-soundingcymbals,with harpsand lyres.
He then stationedthe Levitesin the houseof the LORDwith cymbals,with harpsand with lyres,according to the commandof Davidand of Gadthe king'sseer,and of Nathanthe prophet;for the commandwas from the LORDthroughHis prophets.
