To hearthe groaningof the prisoner,To setfreethosewhowere doomedto death,
For He standsat the righthandof the needy,To savehim from those who judgehis soul.
"Becauseof the devastationof the afflicted,becauseof the groaningof the needy,NowI will arise,"saysthe LORD;"I will sethim in the safetyfor which he longs."
Othat You would slaythe wicked,O God;Departfrom me, therefore, menof bloodshed.
"Nowconsiderthis,you who forgetGod,OrI will tear[you] in pieces, and therewill be noneto deliver.
For You are my hope;O LordGOD,[You are] my confidencefrom my youth.
May he vindicatethe afflictedof the people,Savethe childrenof the needyAnd crushthe oppressor.
For He who requiresbloodremembersthem; He does not forgetthe cryof the afflicted.
Surelythereis a future,And your hopewill not be cutoff.
Know[that] wisdomis thusfor your soul;Ifyou find[it], then therewill be a future,And your hopewill not be cutoff.
"HE HAS FILLEDTHE HUNGRYWITH GOOD THINGS;And sent awaythe richempty-handed.
And turningHis gazetowardHis disciples,He [began] to say,"Blessed[are] you [who are] poor,for yoursis the kingdomof God.
Listen,my belovedbrethren:did not Godchoosethe poorof thisworld[to be] richin faithand heirsof the kingdomwhichHe promisedto thosewho loveHim?
