The Lordhas swallowedup; He has not sparedAllthe habitationsof Jacob.In His wrathHe has throwndownThe strongholdsof the daughterof Judah;He has brought[them] downto the ground;He has profanedthe kingdomand its princes.
The Lordhas becomelike an enemy.He has swallowedup Israel;He has swallowedup allits palaces,He has destroyedits strongholdsAnd multipliedin the daughterof JudahMourningand moaning.
I will pourout My indignationon you; I will blowon you with the fireof My wrath,and I will giveyou into the handof brutalmen,skilledin destruction.
