To shootfrom concealmentat the blameless;Suddenlythey shootat him, and do not fear.
Howthey are destroyedin a moment!They are utterlysweptawayby suddenterrors!
A manwho hardens[his] neckafter much reproofWill suddenlybe brokenbeyondremedy.
Thereforehis calamitywill comesuddenly;Instantlyhe will be brokenand therewill be nohealing.
Thisis an evilin allthat is doneunderthe sun,that there is onefatefor allmen.Furthermore,the heartsof the sonsof menare fullof eviland insanityis in their heartsthroughout their lives.Afterwardsthey [go] to the dead.
Thereforethisiniquitywill be to you Like a breachabout to fall,A bulgein a highwall,Whosecollapsecomessuddenlyin an instant,
"The heartis moredeceitfulthanallelse And is desperatelysick;Whocan understandit?
"Thenthere will be two menin the field;onewill be takenand onewill be left.
I will heapmisfortuneson them; I will useMy arrowson them.
I will make My arrowsdrunkwith blood,And My swordwill devourflesh,With the bloodof the slainand the captives,From the long-hairedleadersof the enemy.'
