The righteouswill rejoicewhenhe seesthe vengeance;He will washhis feetin the bloodof the wicked.
"The righteousseeand are glad,And the innocentmockthem,
When my stepswere bathedin butter,And the rockpouredout for me streamsof oil!
The uprightseeit and are glad;But allunrighteousnessshutsits mouth.
The righteouswill seeand fear,And will laughat him, [saying],
The righteousmanwill be gladin the LORDand will takerefugein Him; And allthe uprightin heartwill glory.
That your footmay shatter[them] in blood,The tongueof your dogs[may have] its portionfrom [your] enemies."
You will onlylookon with your eyesAnd seethe recompenseof the wicked.
When the whirlwindpasses,the wickedis nomore,But the righteous[has] an everlastingfoundation.
When it goes wellwith the righteous,the cityrejoices,And when the wickedperish,there is joyfulshouting.
"Rejoice,O nations,[with] His people;For He will avengethe bloodof His servants,And will rendervengeanceon His adversaries,And will atonefor His land[and] His people."
And the winepresswas troddenoutsidethe city,and bloodcameout from the wine press,up to the horses'bridles,for a distanceof twohundred miles.
"Rejoiceoverher, O heaven,and you saintsand apostlesand prophets,becauseGodhas pronouncedjudgmentfor you againsther."
"Thuslet allYour enemiesperish,O LORD;But let those who loveHim be like the risingof the sunin its might."And the landwas undisturbedfor fortyyears.
