Then on the twenty-thirddayof the seventhmonthhe sentthe peopleto their tents,rejoicingand happyof heartbecauseof the goodnessthat the LORDhad shownto Davidand to Solomonand to His peopleIsrael.
"Ohthat I were as in monthsgoneby, As in the dayswhen Godwatchedover me;
EnterHis gateswith thanksgiving[And] His courtswith praise.Givethanksto Him, blessHis name.
Becauseof Your indignationand Your wrath,For You have liftedme up and castme away.
Whyshould the nationssay,"Where,now,is their God?"
I was gladwhen they saidto me, "Let us goto the houseof the LORD."
For the sakeof my brothersand my friends,I will nowsay,"May peacebe within you."
We whohadsweetfellowshiptogetherWalkedin the houseof Godin the throng.
Trustin Him at alltimes,O people;Pourout your heartbeforeHim; Godis a refugefor us. Selah.
Whyshould the nationssay,"Whereis their God?"Let there be knownamong the nationsin our sight,Vengeancefor the bloodof Your servantswhich has been shed.
You makeus an objectof contentionto our neighbors,And our enemieslaughamong themselves.
You will havesongsas in the nightwhen you keepthe festival,And gladnessof heartas when one marchesto [the sound of] the flute,To goto the mountainof the LORD,to the Rockof Israel.
"Arise,cryaloudin the nightAt the beginningof the night watches;Pourout your heartlike waterBeforethe presenceof the Lord;Liftup your handsto Him For the lifeof your littleonesWho are faintbecause of hungerAt the headof everystreet."
Howdarkthe goldhas become,[How] the puregoldhas changed!The sacredstonesare pouredout At the cornerof everystreet.

and you shall rejoicebeforethe LORDyour God,you and your sonand your daughterand your maleand femaleservantsand the Levitewhois in your town,and the strangerand the orphanand the widowwhoare in your midst,in the placewherethe LORDyour Godchoosesto establishHis name.
