"The heartis moredeceitfulthanallelse And is desperatelysick;Whocan understandit?
"Howcan you say,'I am not defiled,I have not goneafterthe Baals?Lookat your wayin the valley!Knowwhatyou have done!You are a swiftyoungcamelentanglingher ways,
Yet the kingand allhis servantswho heardallthesewordswere not afraid,nordid they rendtheir garments.
But wishingto justifyhimself,he saidto Jesus,"And whois my neighbor?"
For not knowingabout God'srighteousnessand seekingto establishtheir own,they did not subjectthemselves to the righteousnessof God.
Whatthen?Are we betterthan they? Not at all;for we have already chargedthat bothJewsand Greeksare allundersin;
I was oncealiveapartfrom the Law;but when the commandmentcame,sinbecame aliveand I died;
"It shall be when he hearsthe wordsof thiscurse,that he will boast,saying,'I havepeacethoughI walkin the stubbornnessof my heartin orderto destroythe watered[land] with the dry.'
