My soul[waits] in silencefor Godonly;From Him is my salvation.
For thusthe LordGOD,the HolyOneof Israel,has said,"In repentanceand restyou will be saved,In quietnessand trustis your strength."But you were not willing,
[It is] goodthat he waitssilentlyFor the salvationof the LORD.
"TrulyI sayto you, whoeverdoes not receivethe kingdomof Godlikea childwill not enterit [at] [all]."
"By your enduranceyou will gainyour lives.
Brethren,do not be childrenin your thinking;yetin evilbe infants,but in your thinkingbe mature.
"Behold,thisdayyour eyeshave seenthat the LORDhad givenyou todayinto my handin the cave,and some saidto killyou, but [my eye] had pityon you; and I said,'I will not stretchout my handagainst my lord,for he is the LORD'Sanointed.'
Moreover Davidwas greatlydistressedbecausethe peoplespokeof stoninghim, for allthe peoplewere embittered,eachonebecauseof his sonsand his daughters.But Davidstrengthenedhimself in the LORDhis God.
