"But nowfor a briefmomentgracehas been[shown] from the LORDour God,to leaveus an escapedremnantand to giveus a pegin His holyplace,that our Godmay enlightenour eyesand grantus a littlerevivingin our bondage.
Lookupon my afflictionand rescueme, For I do not forgetYour law.
For You lightmy lamp;The LORDmy Godilluminesmy darkness.
Lookupon my enemies,for they are many,And they hateme with violenthatred.
I will rejoiceand be gladin Your lovingkindness,BecauseYou have seenmy affliction;You have knownthe troublesof my soul,

"When they becomeheatedup, I will serve[them] their banquetAnd makethem drunk,that they may becomejubilantAnd may sleepa perpetualsleepAnd not wakeup," declaresthe LORD.
"I will makeher princesand her wisemendrunk,Her governors,her prefectsand her mightymen,That they may sleepa perpetualsleepand not wakeup," Declaresthe King,whose nameis the LORDof hosts.
Remember,O LORD,whathas befallenus; Look,and seeour reproach!
A LIGHTOF REVELATIONTO THE GENTILES,And the gloryof Your peopleIsrael."
For this reasonit says,"Awake,sleeper,And arisefrom the dead,And Christwill shineon you."
And the cityhasnoneedof the sunorof the moonto shineon it, for the gloryof Godhas illuminedit, and its lamp[is] the Lamb.
But Jonathanhad not heardwhen his fatherputthe peopleunderoath;therefore, he putout the endof the staffthat [was] in his handand dippedit in the honeycomb,and puthis handto his mouth,and his eyesbrightened.
Then Jonathansaid,"My fatherhas troubledthe land.Seenow,howmy eyeshave brightenedbecauseI tasteda littleof thishoney.
