The Lordgivesthe command;The women who proclaimthe [good] tidingsare a greathost:
She sitsat the doorwayof her house,On a seatby the highplacesof the city,
"Whoeveris naive,let him turnin here,"And to him wholacksunderstandingshe says,
Gothereforeto the mainhighways,and as manyas you find[there], inviteto the wedding feast.'
"For thisreasonalsothe wisdomof Godsaid,I will sendto them prophetsand apostles,and [some] of them they will killand [some] they will persecute,
and at the dinnerhourhe senthis slaveto sayto thosewho had been invited,'Come;for everything is readynow.'
Jesusansweredhim, "I have spokenopenlyto the world;I alwaystaughtin synagoguesand in the temple,whereallthe Jewscome together;and I spokenothingin secret.
Nowon the lastday,the great[day] of the feast,Jesusstoodand criedout, saying,"Ifanyoneis thirsty,let him cometo Me and drink.
Howwill they preachunlessthey are sent?Justas it is written,"HOWBEAUTIFULARE THE FEETOF THOSEWHO BRING GOOD NEWSOF GOOD THINGS!"
