I have directedyou in the wayof wisdom;I have ledyou in uprightpaths.
In additionto beinga wiseman,the Preacheralsotaughtthe peopleknowledge;and he pondered,searchedout and arrangedmanyproverbs.
"They are allstraightforwardto him who understands,And rightto those who findknowledge.
"Listen,for I will speaknoblethings;And the openingof my lips[will reveal] rightthings.
He restoresmy soul;He guidesme in the pathsof righteousnessFor His name'ssake.
"See,I have taughtyou statutesand judgmentsjustas the LORDmy Godcommandedme, that you should dothusin the landwhereyou are enteringto possessit.
Then he taughtme and saidto me, "Let your heartholdfastmy words;Keepmy commandmentsand live;
and said,"You who are fullof alldeceitand fraud,you sonof the devil,you enemyof allrighteousness,will you not ceaseto make crookedthe straightwaysof the Lord?
"I walkin the wayof righteousness,In the midstof the pathsof justice,
Soyou will walkin the wayof goodmenAnd keepto the pathsof the righteous.
