My son,do not forgetmy teaching,But let your heartkeepmy commandments;
To receiveinstructionin wisebehavior,Righteousness,justiceand equity;
Hear,[O] sons,the instructionof a father,And giveattentionthat you may gainunderstanding,
My son,keepmy wordsAnd treasuremy commandmentswithinyou.
Bindthem continuallyon your heart;Tiethem aroundyour neck.
"I have not departedfrom the commandof His lips;I have treasuredthe wordsof His mouthmorethanmy necessaryfood.
Hear,my son,and acceptmy sayingsAnd the yearsof your lifewill be many.
