"Nowtherefore, do not let him gounpunished,for you are a wiseman;and you will knowwhatyou ought to doto him, and you will bringhis grayhairdownto Sheolwith blood."
Becauseof wickedness,castthem forth,In angerputdownthe peoples,O God!
"You shall not bearfalse~witnessagainst your neighbor.
"You shall not beara false report;do not joinyour handwith a wickedmanto be a maliciouswitness.
A truthfulwitnesssaveslives,But he who uttersliesis treacherous.
A trustworthywitnesswill not lie,But a false witnessutterslies.
A false witnesswill not gounpunished,And he who tellslieswill perish.
A false witnesswill perish,But the manwho listens[to the truth] will speakforever.
A false witness[who] utterslies,And one who spreadsstrifeamongbrothers.
The kingthen gaveorders,and they broughtthosemenwhohad maliciouslyaccusedDaniel,and they castthem, their childrenand their wivesinto the lions'den;and they had not reachedthe bottomof the denbeforethe lionsoverpoweredthem and crushedalltheir bones.
You shall not takethe nameof the LORDyour Godin vain,for the LORDwill not leavehim unpunishedwhotakesHis namein vain.
