And as I planto doto them, so I will doto you.'"
so that the landwill not spewyou out, should you defileit, as it has spewedout the nationwhichhas been beforeyou.
Moreover, you shall not followthe customsof the nationwhichI will driveout beforeyou, for they didallthesethings,and therefore I have abhorredthem.
But ifyou do not driveout the inhabitantsof the landfrom beforeyou, then it shall comeabout that those whomyou letremainof them [will become] as pricksin your eyesand as thornsin your sides,and they will troubleyou in the landin whichyou live.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,
"It shall comeabout that as the LORDdelightedoveryou to prosperyou, and multiplyyou, sothe LORDwill delightoveryou to make you perishand destroyyou; and you will be tornfrom the landwhereyou are enteringto possessit.
and the LORDuprootedthem from their landin angerand in furyand in greatwrath,and castthem into anotherland,as [it is] thisday.'
