Theseare the journeysof the sonsof Israel,by whichthey cameout from the landof Egyptby their armies,under the leadershipof Mosesand Aaron.
"Indeed,I broughtyou up from the landof EgyptAnd ransomedyou from the houseof slavery,And I sentbeforeyou Moses,Aaronand Miriam.
You ledYour peoplelike a flockBy the handof Mosesand Aaron.
"WhenJacobwentinto Egyptand your fatherscriedout to the LORD,then the LORDsentMosesand Aaronwho broughtyour fathersout of Egyptand settledthem in thisplace.
Then I sentMosesand Aaron,and I plaguedEgyptby whatI didin its midst;and afterwardI broughtyou out.
Hence Godledthe peoplearoundby the wayof the wildernessto the RedSea;and the sonsof Israelwentup in martialarrayfrom the landof Egypt.
And on that samedaythe LORDbroughtthe sonsof Israelout of the landof Egyptby their hosts.
Now the sonsof Israeljourneyedfrom Ramesesto Succoth,about sixhundredthousandmenon foot,asidefrom children.
Mosesrecordedtheir startingplacesaccording to their journeysby the commandof the LORD,and theseare their journeysaccording to their startingplaces.
He sentMosesHis servant,[And] Aaron,whomHe had chosen.
It was [the same] Aaronand Mosesto whomthe LORDsaid,"Bringout the sonsof Israelfrom the landof Egyptaccordingto their hosts."
And at the endof fourhundredand thirtyyears,to the veryday,allthe hostsof the LORDwentout from the landof Egypt.
