Then he tookup his discourseand said,"Alas,whocan liveexcept Godhas ordainedit?
Now Naaman,captainof the armyof the kingof Aram,was a greatmanwith his master,and highly respected,becauseby him the LORDhad givenvictoryto Aram.The manwas also a valiantwarrior,[but he was] a leper.
"But whocan endurethe dayof His coming?And whocan standwhen He appears?For He is like a refiner'sfireand like fullers'soap.
"For there is noomenagainst Jacob,Noris there any divinationagainst Israel;At the proper timeit shall be saidto JacobAnd to Israel,whatGodhas done!
"NeverthelessKainwill be consumed;Howlongwill Asshurkeepyou captive?"
"But ships[shall come] from the coastof Kittim,And they shall afflictAsshurand will afflictEber;So they also[will come] to destruction."
