He tookup his discourseand said,"From AramBalakhas broughtme, Moab'skingfrom the mountainsof the East,ComecurseJacobfor me, And come,denounceIsrael!'
Then Balak'sangerburnedagainstBalaam,and he struckhis handstogether;and Balaksaidto Balaam,"I calledyou to cursemy enemies,but behold,you have persistedin blessingthem thesethreetimes!
But I was not willingto listento Balaam.So he hadto blessyou, and I deliveredyou from his hand.
