"For sevenmonthsthe houseof Israelwill be buryingthem in orderto cleansethe land.
"Afterhe is cleansed,sevendaysshall elapsefor him.
Thisis the lawfor anymarkof leprosy--even for a scale,
Thisis the lawfor the one with a discharge,and for the man whohasa seminalemissionso that he is uncleanby it,
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Speakto the priests,the sonsof Aaron,and sayto them: 'Noone shall defilehimself for a [dead] personamong his people,
norshall he approachanydeadperson,nordefilehimself [even] for his fatheror his mother;
Anyonewho touchesa corpse,the bodyof a manwhohas died,and does not purifyhimself, defilesthe tabernacleof the LORD;and that personshall be cutofffrom Israel.Becausethe waterfor impuritywas not sprinkledon him, he shall be unclean;his uncleannessis stillon him.
Everyopenvessel,whichhasnocoveringtieddownon it, shall be unclean.
"You shall purifyfor yourselves everygarmentand everyarticleof leatherand allthe workof goats'[hair], and allarticlesof wood."
"Commandthe sonsof Israelthat they sendawayfrom the campeveryleperand everyonehaving a dischargeand everyonewho is uncleanbecause of a [dead] person.
Allthe daysof his separationto the LORDhe shall not gonear to a deadperson.
But ifa man diesverysuddenlybesidehim and he defileshis dedicatedhead[of hair], then he shall shavehis headon the daywhen he becomesclean;he shall shaveit on the seventhday.
But there were [some] menwhowere uncleanbecause of [the] deadperson,so that they couldnot observePassoveron that day;so they camebeforeMosesand Aaronon that day.
