Then the Lordawokeas [if from] sleep,Like a warriorovercomeby wine.
"I have madethe earth,the menand the beastswhichare on the faceof the earthby My greatpowerand by My outstretchedarm,and I will giveit to the one whois pleasingin My sight.
They camein and tookpossessionof it, but they did not obeyYour voiceor walkin Your law;they have donenothingof allthat You commandedthem to do;therefore You have made allthiscalamitycomeupon them.

So Joshuatookthe wholeland,according to allthat the LORDhad spokento Moses,and Joshuagaveit for an inheritanceto Israelaccording to their divisionsby their tribes.Thus the landhadrestfrom war.
