Then Ezrablessedthe LORDthe greatGod.And allthe peopleanswered,"Amen,Amen!"while liftingup their hands;then they bowedlowand worshipedthe LORDwith [their] facesto the ground.
Abramsaidto the kingof Sodom,"I have swornto the LORDGodMostHigh,possessorof heavenand earth,
Then the manbowedlowand worshipedthe LORD.
Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof Israel,From everlastingeven to everlasting.Then allthe peoplesaid,"Amen,"and praisedthe LORD.
So Davidblessedthe LORDin the sightof allthe assembly;and Davidsaid,"Blessedare You, O LORDGodof Israelour father,foreverand ever.
Then Davidsaidto allthe assembly,"Nowblessthe LORDyour God."And allthe assemblyblessedthe LORD,the Godof their fathers,and bowedlowand didhomageto the LORDand to the king.
Jehoshaphatbowedhis head with [his] faceto the ground,and allJudahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalemfelldownbeforethe LORD,worshipingthe LORD.
"Nowit is in my heartto makea covenantwith the LORDGodof Israel,that His burningangermay turnawayfrom us.
Moreover, KingHezekiahand the officialsorderedthe Levitesto singpraisesto the LORDwith the wordsof Davidand Asaphthe seer.So they sangpraiseswith joy,and boweddownand worshiped.
He said,"Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof Israel,whospokewith His mouthto my fatherDavidand has fulfilled[it] with His hands,saying,
I alsoshookout the frontof my garmentand said,"Thusmay Godshakeout everymanfrom his houseand from his possessionswhodoes not fulfillthispromise;even thusmay he be shakenout and emptied."And allthe assemblysaid,"Amen!"And they praisedthe LORD.Then the peopledidaccording to thispromise.
Also Jeshua,Bani,Sherebiah,Jamin,Akkub,Shabbethai,Hodiah,Maaseiah,Kelita,Azariah,Jozabad,Hanan,Pelaiah,the Levites,explainedthe lawto the peoplewhile the people[remained] in their place.
Liftup your handsto the sanctuaryAnd blessthe LORD.
May my prayerbe countedas incensebeforeYou; The liftingup of my handsas the eveningoffering.
Hearthe voiceof my supplicationswhen I cryto You for help,When I liftup my handstowardYour holysanctuary.
Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof Israel,From everlastingto everlasting.Amenand Amen.
SoI will blessYou as long as I live;I will liftup my handsin Your name.
For the LORDis a greatGodAnd a greatKingaboveallgods,
you shall say,'It is a Passoversacrificeto the LORDwhopassedoverthe housesof the sonsof Israelin Egyptwhen He smotethe Egyptians,but sparedour homes.'"And the peoplebowedlowand worshiped.
So the peoplebelieved;and when they heardthat the LORDwas concernedabout the sonsof Israeland that He had seentheir affliction,then they bowedlowand worshiped.
and the prophetJeremiahsaid,"Amen!May the LORDdoso;may the LORDconfirmyour wordswhichyou have prophesiedto bringbackthe vesselsof the LORD'Shouseand allthe exiles,from Babylonto thisplace.
We liftup our heartand handsTowardGodin heaven;
Then firecameout from beforethe LORDand consumedthe burntofferingand the portionsof faton the altar;and when allthe peoplesaw[it], they shoutedand fellon their faces.
And He wenta littlebeyond[them], and fellon His faceand prayed,saying,"My Father,ifit is possible,let thiscuppassfrom Me; yetnot as I will,but as You will."
And do not leadus into temptation,but deliverus from evil.[For Yoursis the kingdomand the powerand the gloryforever.Amen].'
Otherwiseifyou blessin the spirit[only], howwill the one who fillsthe placeof the ungiftedsaythe "Amen"at your giving of thanks,sincehe does not knowwhatyou are saying?
Blessed[be] the Godand Fatherof our LordJesusChrist,who has blessedus with everyspiritualblessingin the heavenly[places] in Christ,
ThereforeI wantthe menin everyplaceto pray,liftingup holyhands,withoutwrathand dissension.
Blessedbe the Godand Fatherof our LordJesusChrist,who accordingto His greatmercyhas caused us to be born againto a livinghopethroughthe resurrectionof JesusChristfrom the dead,
And allthe angelswere standingaroundthe throneand [around] the eldersand the fourliving creatures;and they fellon their facesbeforethe throneand worshipedGod,
