Hearnowwhatthe LORDis saying,"Arise,pleadyour casebeforethe mountains,And let the hillshearyour voice.
The MightyOne,God,the LORD,has spoken,And summonedthe earthfrom the risingof the sunto its setting.
He summonsthe heavensabove,And the earth,to judgeHis people:
Listen,O heavens,and hear,O earth;For the LORDspeaks,"SonsI have rearedand broughtup, But they have revoltedagainst Me.
The LORDarisesto contend,And standsto judgethe people.
Listenand giveheed,do not be haughty,For the LORDhas spoken.
"O land,land,land,Hearthe wordof the LORD!
"And you, sonof man,prophesyto the mountainsof Israeland say,'O mountainsof Israel,hearthe wordof the LORD.
But you, O mountainsof Israel,you will putforth your branchesand bearyour fruitfor My peopleIsrael;for they will sooncome.
Again He saidto me, "Prophesyoverthesebonesand sayto them, 'O drybones,hearthe wordof the LORD.'
and say,'Mountainsof Israel,listento the wordof the LordGOD!Thussaysthe LordGODto the mountains,the hills,the ravinesand the valleys:"Behold,I Myselfam going to bringa swordon you, and I will destroyyour highplaces.
Hearthiswordwhichthe LORDhas spokenagainstyou, sonsof Israel,againstthe entirefamilywhichHe broughtup from the landof Egypt:
Hear,O peoples,allof you; Listen,O earthand allit contains,And let the LordGODbe a witnessagainst you, The Lordfrom His holytemple.
The mountainswill meltunderHim And the valleyswill be split,Like waxbeforethe fire,Like waterpoureddowna steepplace.
"And I will executevengeancein angerand wrathOn the nationswhichhave not obeyed."
"Listen,you mountains,to the indictmentof the LORD,And you enduringfoundationsof the earth,Becausethe LORDhas a caseagainstHis people;Even with IsraelHe will dispute.
But Jesus answered,"I tellyou, ifthesebecome silent,the stoneswill cryout!"
"Giveear,O heavens,and let me speak;And let the earthhearthe wordsof my mouth.
I callheavenand earthto witnessagainst you today,that you will surelyperishquicklyfrom the landwhereyou are goingoverthe Jordanto possessit. You shall not livelongon it, but will be utterlydestroyed.
"So now,takeyour stand,that I may pleadwith you beforethe LORDconcerningallthe righteousactsof the LORDwhichHe didfor you and your fathers.
Then Samuelsaidto Saul,"Wait,and let me tellyou whatthe LORDsaidto me last night."And he saidto him, "Speak!"
