And they broughtto Him a paralyticlyingon a bed.Seeingtheir faith,Jesussaidto the paralytic,"Take courage,son;your sinsare forgiven."
But Jesusturningand seeingher said,"Daughter,take courage;your faithhas madeyou well."At oncethe womanwas made well.
But someonemay [well] say,"You havefaithand I haveworks;showme your faithwithoutthe works,and I will showyou my faithby my works."
sothat handkerchiefsorapronswere evencarriedfrom his bodyto the sick,and the diseasesleftthem and the evilspiritswentout.
SoJesussaidto them, "Children,you do not haveanyfish,do you?" They answeredHim, "No."
Nowwhen Jesusheard[this], He marveledand saidto thosewho were following,"TrulyI sayto you, I have not foundsuch greatfaithwith anyonein Israel.
The newsabout Him spreadthroughoutallSyria;and they broughtto Him allwho were ill,those sufferingwith variousdiseasesand pains,demoniacs,epileptics,paralytics;and He healedthem.
And not onlythis, but we alsoexultin Godthroughour LordJesusChrist,throughwhomwe have nowreceivedthe reconciliation.
This manwas listeningto Paulas he spoke,who,when he had fixed his gazeon him and had seenthat he hadfaithto be made well,
"These thingsI have spokento you, sothat in Me you may havepeace.In the worldyou havetribulation,but take courage;I have overcomethe world."
"But sothat you may knowthat the Sonof Manhasauthorityon earthto forgivesins"--thenHe saidto the paralytic,"Getup, pickup your bedand gohome."
When eveningcame,they broughtto Him manywho were demon-possessed;and He castout the spiritswith a word,and healedallwho were ill.
"I have wipedout your transgressionslike a thickcloudAnd your sinslike a heavymist.Returnto Me, for I have redeemedyou."
and becauseHe did not needanyoneto testifyconcerningman,for He Himselfknewwhatwas in man.
And He saidto her, "Daughter,your faithhas made you well;goin peaceand be healedof your affliction."
When eveningcame,afterthe sunhad set,they [began] bringingto Him allwho were illand thosewho were demon-possessed.
Go[then], eatyour breadin happinessand drinkyour winewith a cheerfulheart;for Godhas alreadyapprovedyour works.
And forgiveus our debts,as we alsohave forgivenour debtors.
"Whichis easier,to say,Your sinsare forgiven,'orto say,'Getup, and walk'?
But immediatelyJesusspoketo them, saying,"Take courage,it is I; do not be afraid."
for they allsawHim and were terrified.But immediatelyHe spokewith them and saidto them, "Take courage;it is I, do not be afraid."
And Jesusstoppedand said,"Callhim [here]." Sothey calledthe blind man,sayingto him, "Take courage,standup! He is callingfor you."
But on the night[immediately] following,the Lordstoodat his side and said,"Take courage;for as you have solemnly witnessedto My causeat Jerusalem,soyou mustwitnessat Romealso."
