While He was sayingthese thingsto them, a [synagogue] officialcameand bowed down beforeHim, and said,"My daughterhas justdied;but comeand layYour handon her, and she will live."
But Naamanwas furiousand wentaway and said,"Behold,I thought,'He will surelycomeout to me and standand callon the nameof the LORDhis God,and wavehis handoverthe placeand curethe leper.'
And thosewho were in the boatworshipedHim, saying,"You are certainlyGod'sSon!"
But she cameand [began] to bow down beforeHim, saying,"Lord,helpme!"
When they cameto the crowd,a mancameup to Jesus, falling on his knees beforeHim and saying,
Thenthe motherof the sonsof Zebedeecameto Jesus with her sons,bowing downand making a requestof Him.
When they sawHim, they worshiped[Him]; but somewere doubtful.
And a lepercameto Him and bowed downbefore Him, and said,"Lord,ifYou are willing,You canmake me clean."
And they cameto [Him] and wokeHim, saying,"Save[us], Lord;we are perishing!"
"Nordo [people] putnewwineinto oldwineskins;otherwisethe wineskinsburst,and the winepoursout and the wineskinsare ruined;but they putnewwineinto freshwineskins,and bothare preserved."
Jesusgotup and [began] to followhim, and [so did] His disciples.
He said,"Leave;for the girlhas not died,but is asleep."And they [began] laughingat Him.
But the synagogue official,indignantbecauseJesushad healedon the Sabbath,[began] sayingto the crowdin response,"There are sixdaysin whichworkshouldbe done;socomeduringthem and get healed,and not on the Sabbathday."
A rulerquestionedHim, saying,"GoodTeacher,whatshall I doto inheriteternallife?"
And a centurion'sslave,whowas highly regardedby him, was sickand aboutto die.
Jesussaidto her, "I amthe resurrectionand the life;he who believesin Me will liveeven ifhe dies,
Therefore,whenMarycamewhereJesuswas, she sawHim, and fellat His feet,sayingto Him, "Lord,ifYou had beenhere,my brotherwould not have died."
Afterthe readingof the Lawand the Prophetsthe synagogue officialssentto them, saying,"Brethren,ifyou have anywordof exhortationfor the people,sayit."
And it happenedthat the fatherof Publiuswas lying[in bed] afflictedwith [recurrent] feverand dysentery;and Paulwentin [to see] him and after he had prayed,he laidhis handson him and healedhim.
