The Spiritof the LORDwill reston Him, The spiritof wisdomand understanding,The spiritof counseland strength,The spiritof knowledgeand the fearof the LORD.
"Behold,My Servant,whom I uphold;My chosenone [in whom] My souldelights.I have putMy Spiritupon Him; He will bringforthjusticeto the nations.
"As for Me, thisis My covenantwith them," saysthe LORD:"My Spiritwhichis upon you, and My wordswhichI have putin your mouthshall not departfrom your mouth,norfrom the mouthof your offspring,norfrom the mouthof your offspring'soffspring,"saysthe LORD,"from nowand forever."
The Spiritof the LordGODis upon me, Becausethe LORDhas anointedme To bringgood newsto the afflicted;He has sentme to bindup the brokenhearted,To proclaimlibertyto captivesAnd freedomto prisoners;
Now it cameabout in the thirtiethyear,on the fifth[day] of the fourthmonth,while I was by the riverChebaramongthe exiles,the heavenswere openedand I sawvisionsof God.
Immediatelycomingup out of the water,He sawthe heavensopening,and the Spiritlikea dovedescendingupon Him;
And He saidto him, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, you will seethe heavensopenedand the angelsof Godascendingand descendingon the Sonof Man."
"For He whomGodhas sentspeaksthe wordsof God;for He givesthe Spiritwithoutmeasure.
beginningwith the baptismof Johnuntilthe daythat He was takenup from us-- oneof these[must] becomea witnesswith us of His resurrection."
and he said,"Behold,I seethe heavensopenedup and the Sonof Manstandingat the right handof God."
Thisis the One who cameby waterand blood,JesusChrist;not with the wateronly,but with the waterand with the blood.It is the Spiritwho testifies,becausethe Spiritis the truth.
