And sitting down,they [began] to keep watch overHim there.
And aboveHis headthey putup the charge againstHim which read,"THISIS JESUSTHE KINGOF THE JEWS."
Nowthe centurion,and thosewho were with him keeping guard overJesus,when they sawthe earthquakeand the things that were happening,became veryfrightenedand said,"Trulythiswas the Sonof God!"
When the centurion,who was standingright in frontof Him, sawthe wayHe breathed His last,he said,"Trulythismanwas the Sonof God!"
PilatewonderedifHe was deadby this time,and summoningthe centurion,he questionedhim as to whetherHe was alreadydead.
