And He saidto her, "Whatdo you wish?"She said to Him, "Commandthat in Your kingdomthesetwosonsof minemay sitoneon Your rightand oneon Your left."
So Bathshebawentto KingSolomonto speakto him for Adonijah.And the kingaroseto meether, bowedbefore her, and saton his throne;then he had a thronesetfor the king'smother,and she saton his right.
In Gibeonthe LORDappearedto Solomonin a dreamat night;and Godsaid,"Askwhat[you wish] me to giveyou."
Then the kingsaidto her, "Whatis [troubling] you, QueenEsther?And whatis your request?Evento halfof the kingdomit shall be givento you."
The LORDsaysto my Lord:"Sitat My righthandUntilI makeYour enemiesa footstoolfor Your feet."
Kings'daughtersare among Your nobleladies; At Your righthandstandsthe queenin goldfrom Ophir.
But you, are you seekinggreatthingsfor yourself? Do not seek[them]; for behold,I am going to bringdisasteron allflesh,'declaresthe LORD,but I will giveyour lifeto you as bootyin allthe placeswhereyou may go.'"
At that timethe disciplescameto Jesusand said,"Whothenis greatestin the kingdomof heaven?"
And Jesussaidto them, "TrulyI sayto you, that you who have followedMe, in the regenerationwhenthe Sonof Manwill siton His gloriousthrone,you alsoshall situpon twelvethrones,judgingthe twelvetribesof Israel.
But Jesusanswered,"You do not knowwhatyou are asking.Are you ableto drinkthe cupthat I am aboutto drink?"They saidto Him, "We are able."
And Jesusstoppedand calledthem, and said,"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?"
And answeringhim, Jesussaid,"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?" And the blind mansaidto Him, "Rabboni,[I want] to regain my sight!"
So then,when the LordJesushad spokento them, He was receivedup into heavenand sat downat the right handof God.
and when the daughterof Herodiasherselfcamein and danced,she pleasedHerodand his dinner guests;and the kingsaidto the girl,"Askme for whateveryou wantand I will giveit to you."
"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?" And he said,"Lord,[I want] to regain my sight!"
While they were listeningto these things,Jesus wenton to tella parable,becauseHe was nearJerusalem,and they supposedthat the kingdomof Godwas goingto appearimmediately.
And there arosealsoa disputeamongthem [as to] whichone of them was regardedto be greatest.
"Ifyou abidein Me, and My wordsabidein you, askwhateveryou wish,and it will be donefor you.
Sowhen they had come together,they were askingHim, saying,"Lord,is it at thistimeYou are restoringthe kingdomto Israel?"
[Be] devotedto oneanotherin brotherly love;give preferenceto one anotherin honor;
whois the one who condemns?ChristJesusis He who died,yes,ratherwho was raised,whois at the right handof God,whoalsointercedesfor us.
Thereforeifyou have been raisedup with Christ,keep seekingthe things above,whereChristis, seatedat the right handof God.
